Dark Sky Films has unveiled the official U.S. trailer for Visions, a gripping psychological thriller from filmmaker Yann Gozlan. Set against the sun-drenched, glamorous backdrop of the Côte d’Azur, the film explores the dangerous interplay of passion, desire, and obsession, blurring the lines between reality and appearance.
Diane Kruger stars as Estelle, a brilliant airline captain living a seemingly perfect life with her husband Guillaume, a respected doctor. But her meticulously curated world is disrupted when she crosses paths with Ana, a photographer she met decades ago at an airport. The encounter rekindles a fiery affair that Estelle thought had long ended, forcing her to navigate a web of love, betrayal, and psychological tension.
Alongside Kruger, the film features an ensemble cast including Mathieu Kassovitz, Marta Nieto, Amira Casar, Grégory Fitoussi, and Élodie Navarre, all contributing to the taut and suspenseful atmosphere. The narrative is crafted with a touch reminiscent of Brian De Palma, where eroticism and intrigue coexist, and the glamour of the French Riviera becomes a stage for secrets, seduction, and dangerous choices.
The screenplay was written by Michel Fessler, Aurélie Valat, Jean Baptiste Delafon, and Yann Gozlan, with collaboration from Audrey Diwan, based on an idea by Michel Fessler. The story delicately examines the tension between societal expectation and forbidden desire, creating a thriller that is as sensual as it is suspenseful.
Set to release on December 12th, 2025, Visions promises to be a provocative, visually stunning addition to Gozlan’s repertoire, perfect for audiences who enjoy suspense with a touch of erotic complexity.
